Dr Mark Gunning's areas of expertise include valvular heart disease, ischaemic heart disease, coronary intervention, rotational atherectomy, alcoholic septal ablation, transcutaneous aortic valve implantation (TAVI), and bradycardia pacing. His areas of interest are combined renal and cardiac disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, ischaemic heat disease and coronary calcification, management of complex aortic valve disease. He is a council member of the British Cardiovascular Society and a member of British Cardiovascular Intervention Society.
