The team have been given the Chief Executive's award in recognition of their dedication.

Tracy Bullock, Chief Executive, said: "This team have really pulled out all the stops to help patients. Their work ethic within a challenging environment is well deserving of praise and they exemplify what can be achieved by effective communication and partnership between different teams across the hospital."

Dot Morgan-Smith, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, said: "It's such a big honour for the team to be recognised with this award, it really means a lot. It's very humbling and we're really touched. It was lovely for the A&E team to nominate us, we really feel that they have helped and supported us a lot too. Basically, we all work together as one big team.  It's not a matter of 'them' and 'us'- we're just one UHNM family."
