Suspension of Breast Screening Service
As part of the UHNM response to the national Coronavirus outbreak, we have regrettably suspended the breast screening service in line with Government and Public Health England guidance.
If you have a booked appointment or are expecting an appointment, this will no longer be taking place. Once screening resumes you will be contacted with a new appointment.
If you have recently had a breast screening mammogram we will still send your results by post as usual. If you require further imaging we will contact you by letter and telephone.
In the meantime, if you have any changes in your breast or symptoms that are causing you concern, please contact your GP.
