New rest pods help improve staff wellbeing at County Hospital

Staff at County Hospital looking for somewhere quiet to eat, relax or reflect have access to a number of rest and wellbeing pods thanks to UHNM Charity.

The pods, located in Nightingale's Restaurant are part of University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust's on-going commitment to support staff wellbeing at the hospital, and were made possible thanks to funding from NHS Charities Together’s Covid 19 Urgent Appeal.

Lisa Thomson, Director of Communications and Charity at UHNM said: “We are incredibly grateful to NHS Charities Together for their support and funding through their Covid-19 Appeal. The pods will make a big difference to our staff at County hospital who continue to work tirelessly in challenging circumstances.”
