Supporting your local NHS in the fight against COVID-19

As a Charity serving both the Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital Stafford we have been overwhelmed by the numbers of people asking us how they can best support our staff during the Coronavirus crisis.

We’ve been delighted to receive deliveries of flowers; food; drinks and so much more and our staff have really appreciated this. The generosity of local people and our family of supporters really has been overwhelming. Thank you all.

As we become more pressured in the coming weeks the best way that people can support our staff is by following the government guidelines and staying at home. It will also be increasingly difficult for us to spare staff to manage to distribute spontaneous deliveries. However, if local businesses have items they would like to drop off then please get in contact with the Charity team on 01782 676444 or email and we will be in touch to arrange a delivery slot and our teams will then distribute this across our hospitals.

We’ve also been asked about cash donations. If you would like and are in position to show your appreciation, any financial donation you make to us on this page will be used to provide well-being boxes and important wellness assistance for staff so that they are able to provide you with the best possible care during a very challenging time. Funds will also be used to buy any extra equipment that staff recommend would most benefit the patients and relatives of those in our hospitals during this difficult time.

Every donation is a huge morale boost and lets our fabulous doctors, nurses and support staff know that they have your support.

Thank you – and stay safe.
