​My special interests are children's spinal deformities, lower back pain, degenerative lower back and cervical spine disorders, reconstructive and decompression surgery and spine emergencies. My research interests, which I undertake in collaboration with Staffordshire University, are spinal motion and spinal motion technology. I have been elected as visiting Senior Lecturer (Fellow) for Staffordshire University School of Health.​
