Dr Jon Bingham specialises in the management of traumatic injury. He provides pre-hospital care at the roadside via land and as part of the Midlands Air Ambulance. He responds independently as part of North Staffordshire BASICs. He works as part of the Major Trauma Centre of University Hospitals of North Midlands​ to give continuity of care from the point of injury, through the Emergency Department and radiology, to theatres and ultimately to intensive care where this is warranted. He has an interest in emergency CEPOD theatres and is currently the lead for Theatre Recovery.
