Dr Neena Bodasing's areas of expertise are infectious diseases and HIV medicine. Her areas of interest include HIV medicine, antimicrobial stewardship and tropical infection. She graduated from Edinburgh University and subsequently trained in London and Glasgow. She started work as a consultant at University Hospitals of North Midlands in 2004 having completed a year as lecturer and consultant in Blantyre, Malawi. She started, and now leads the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy Service at University Hospitals of North Midlands​. She also has an interest in medical education and is the lead for infectious diseases and respiratory medicine at Keele Medical School.
