Luscombe, Christopher

Mr Christopher Luscombe was appointed as Consultant Urological Surgeon in 2005, and is the Urology Cancer Lead. He has a particular interest in the treatment of prostate cancer, but is also experienced in the treatment of a large range of urological conditions in both adults and children. He regularly performs treatments for conditions that include cancer, kidney stones, prostate enlargement and foreskin/testicular problems. In particular he has developed an interest into laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery of the kidney and prostate. He was the first surgeon to introduce keyhole prostate cancer surgery in the region and is invited to other hospitals to help train consultant surgeons to perform this procedure.
