Nuclear Medicine is a clinical service based within the x-ray department on Lower Ground Floor 1 of the Main Building.The department is run by skilled doctors, clinical scientists, medical technical officers and nurses. It provides the full range of diagnostic and treatment procedures expected in a busy teaching hospital. It supports a heavy workload of myocardial perfusion imaging, and it has recently succeeded in reducing the maximum wait time for all diagnostic procedures to approximately 2 weeks.
