Requirement:

COAGULATION TUBES MUST BE FILLED TO THE LINE.

Specialist coagulation testing, would not normally be requested as a first line test

Turnaround Time:

Up to 2 weeks if non urgent.

Factor assays are normally requested / performed when a screening test e.g. INR, APTT, shows an abnormality or a specific factor deficiency is suspected e.g. relevant family history.
