Department: Haematology Requirement: COAGULATION TUBES MUST BE FILLED TO LINE. Specialist coagulation testing, would not normally be requested as a first line test
Turnaround Time: Up to 2 weeks if non-urgent |
Factor XII is part of the intrinsic coagulation pathway.
Deficiency does not usually cause bleeding tendencies.
Requests must be vetted by a Consultant Haematologist or Paediatrician
