Requirement:

4ml clotted blood (1ml if paediatric), red top, Provide specific travel and exposure history with dates and length of stay, please state if rural areas visited and/or animal exposure

Turnaround Time: 7-10 days

Detection of IgG to Wuchereria species - blood film may be more appropriate

Other Comments:

If processing is delayed, refrigeration is preferable to storage at ambient temperature. Delays of over 48 hours are undesirable
