Please note - urine samples are not suitable for detection of N.gonorrohoea in females due to low sensitivity and will be rejected

PCR for the detection of Neisseria gonorrhoea DNA in clinical samples

Note: samples are tested for both Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis in combination.

If processing is delayed, store at ambient temperature.

Factors known to significantly affect results: Interfering factors include lubricants, hand sanitisers and talcum powder, and heavy bloodstaning may cause inhibition
