Genotypic detection of CCR5. The HIV tropism test is helpful in deciding whether a CCR5 blocker will be useful in controlling a patient's HIV

Other Comments:

If processing is delayed, refrigeration is preferable to storage at ambient temperature. Delays of over 24 hours are undesirable
