Background:
Monitoring patients with homocystinuria only.
For investigation of Investigation of thrombophilia, clotting disorders, retinal vein occlusion, CHD risk, Alzheimers, please see total homocystine.
A fasting sample must be received within 1 hour of sampling.
Please note: these samples require extensive preparation on receipt. Please contact the laboratory before taking samples.
