4ml EDTA blood (1ml if paediatric), purple top, Provide specific travel and exposure history with dates and length of stay, please state if rural areas visited and/or animal exposure

Turnaround Time: 3-5 working days

Detection of dengue virus RNA in blood

Other Comments:

If processing is delayed, refrigeration is preferable to storage at ambient temperature. Delays of over 48 hours are undesirable
