07:00 - 08:00 Patient attends the ward and gets checked in by the ward nurses
08:00 - 08:30 Patient reviewed by the clinical team and confirms their consent to the procedure
08:30 - 09:00 Patient transferred to the operating theatre
09:00 - 09:30 Start of surgery 60 - 120 minutes to complete the hysterectomy
10:00 - 11:30 Patient transferred to the recovery area
11:30 - 12:30 Patient transferred back to ward for discharge in 6 - 8 hours

Can I withdraw from the study after I have been randomised?
Participants can withdraw from the study after randomisation but would not affect the treatment schedule.
How long is the recovery time?
Recovery time would be approximately 4 to 8 weeks (depending on the extent of surgery) All participants will be counselled about the approximate recovery time.
Who can I contact if I have problems after the surgery?
Participants are given open access to Surgical Assessment Unit for two weeks post-surgery where they can self-refer, and they will have contact number of Endometriosis Nurse.
